Projects methodology

In general, MICHAIL LOLIDIS's activity cycle during project execution of a project comprises four (4) phases:

  1. The starting point of the Analysis phase is to define the project's objectives in cooperation with the client's top management. Subsequently, through the application of innovative and effective methods, the weaknesses of the existing system are detected. The analysis results are discussed with the client's top management for determining synthesis directions and constrains.
  2. The Design activity synthesizes of alternative solutions and selects the optimal one based on multiple criteria (MDSS).
  3. The MICHAIL LOLIDIS's firm position is not to limit its consulting effort to the analysis and design phases, but also to support the client during Implementation of the proposed solution. This is achieved by providing of continuous support and training to executives and employees, and by monitoring system's performance using appropriate indices (KPIs).
  4. The ultimate goal is to create the institutional framework, which will support, maintain and develop further the results of the consulting assignment. In this end Auditing procedures are developed and the necessary corrective action plan is designed.

Total Productive Maintenance ( TPM ) attacks the manufacturing equipment losses of breakdowns, set-ups, adjustments, reduced speed, scrap and rework. Total Productive Maintenance ( TPM ) implementation leads to significant manufacturing cost reduction.Sector experience includes  logistics, food and FMCG companies. More than  20 projects have been implememented. Lean Manufacturing facilitates reductions in cost, lead time and work-in-progress. Lean Greek manufacturing organisations that have undergone extensive lean training and lean consulting are better placed to survive in increasingly competitive global markets. Tailored lean training and lean implementation consulting is also applicable to the service sector.

The process of designing and implementing the QMS ISO 9001 Management System, or EMS ISO 14001 environmental system, HACCP systems, ISO 2200, BRC, IFS, OHSAS 18001 Hygiene and Safety personnel system,  is a value added process. As we begin to implement the management system we identify areas where we can and should eliminate the non-value added elements within the processes we are going to identify, document and analyze. This is an inherent element in the implementation process. If we do not fully and completely understand our processes, we will never make the transition from "business as usual" to becoming a "world-class organization". Given our long experience in business organization, we have developed our own effective approach to  systems implementation .
